Cecilia has spent 20+ years in the executive suite as a VP or Director at global brands such as Burberry, La Perla, and Frette and at startups such as K2, RichFX, and dotbox. She also founded venture-backed startups in fashion (boutiqueY3k, StyleTrek), entertainment (appLOUD) and media (BRWN).  She started her career as a media specialist at Y&R's Cohn & Wolfe where she worked on the public relations of blue chip clients US Postal Service, Deloitte and Details Magazine. She left Cohn & Wolfe after her work included "perception management" for clients Philip Morris (Marlboro, Virginia Slims) and Exxon. She then joined K2 where she was the 6th employee hired at the startup. When the company went public 2 years later, she was promoted to VP of Client Services with a roster of clients including ToysRus, Nine West, MCI, AOL, Audi, and IBM. After K2, she joined RichFX as VP of Strategy where she helped steer clients Burberry, Neiman Marcus, Oakley, and LEGO towards their digital transformation.


Fully versed in multi-channel and multi-cultural marketing, Cecilia has a soft spot for emerging brands and loves bringing her expertise cultivated from her work with global brands to help startups grow and thrive. Since 2020 Cecilia has shifted her focus on more impactful and diverse sustainable projects such as  democratizing STEM education with STEMlingo, promoted Smile Train's efforts in  rural Africa with Summit Impact, helping end child marriage in Kajiado, Kenya, supported Bye Bye Plastic in eliminating single use plastic at festivals and music venues, associate produced TEDxTulum's "Congruencia" featuring speakers on climate change mitigation, worked with Care with Me Foundation on turning beach cleanup plastics into biofuel, supported Minga Indigena's efforts to get a seat at the table at COP, produced NFT4Good event at NFTnyc with the symposium "Can NFT's Save the Planet" and promoted cutting edge climate tech with unmanned aerial systems by KH Aerospace that provided early detection of forest fires and measuring methane in the earth's atmosphere.


Recently Cecilia was inducted into Samudra's Sustainability Leadership Trust and Global Unity's Wisdom Council. In 1997, she co-founded MOUSE.org (Making Opportunities for Upgrading Schools and Education) which created computer labs and spearheaded the connection of NYC public schools on the internet which evolved to STEM afterschool programs nationwide. She later served on the board with Swizz Beatz on Music Unites and Andrew Yang's Venture for America. She was also Marketing Advisor of Yang's 2020 US Presidential Campaign. On her spare time she creates regenerative art that communicates the fragility of the earth's ecosystems and advocates for the use of clean energy. She is an empty nester with her son Mateo in college studying art and architecture. Her frequent companion is her senior rescuedog Shorty who just turned 16.
